beginners guide to making money online

do you really want to make money from the internet?there are several step you should know in order to start making money online.

i will share my own step to earn passive income from the internet :

STEP#2 – FIND PRODUCT OR SERVICE

Pay attention to this word :

Do not try to find the product or service to sell first, but try to find the topics, activities, hobbies, expertise, or experiences that you have or really love to do or enjoy to talk about. Then, try to find the products or services that related to it!

The next step is, find the seller of your desire produts or services or someone who could provide the products or services for you to sell.

STEP#1 – BUY DOMAIN NAME

You must buy domain name!

Find products or services you want to sell online, it is better if you really expert in the products or services you sell and most important thing is, you should enjoy when you selling it. do not try to sell the product or service that you do not have knowledge about it. even worst, do not try to sell if you do not comfort to sell it.

now, try to find the products you want to sell. and then choose domain name that suit, relevant and appropriate to your products or services or suit to the “keywords” of what people search on the search engine! Visit domainbot to help you check the availability of domain.

STEP#3 – PAY FOR HOSTING

Pay attention to this :

If you plan to make minipage or minisite or microsite, you dont need large space on your webhost. But please consider the bandwidth, can you imagine, how many visitor would come to your site daily, or monthly?

We should consider so many things before we choose the right hosting for our business.

We dont want to losing visitor just because our hosting server is down, or get hacked,  or bandwidth exeeded … absolutely NO!

And the last thing that very important is, technical support. I’m a newbie, i dont know anything about networking, webadmin, html, bla bla bla ..and i’m just too lazy to read tutorial out there.

With superb support, you can ask everything you want to know, whenever you need.

STEP#4 – MAKING WEBSITE

Whether you have your own product or not, you must have a website!

I know, looks like very difficult to build a website, especially when there is no money in your pocket. If you have money, you can hire freelance webdesign. And he or she will be set it up for you ..

I assumed you already buy domain and pay for hosting.

Pay attention to this word :

if you want to sell one item of digital product such as software or ebooks, whether your own products or others people products, then you should go on with minisite or microsite.
if you have writing skills or you have expertise that very useful to share in your field, and you also selling your own products or others people product as an affiliate, then you should make a weblog or blog. You can sell as many as products you want.
But if you have a lot of products item, and you dont like to write a lot, then you can make complete online store.

STEP#5 – CONTENT CREATION

Talk about content creation, then we talk about THE GOLDEN STEP. You could succeed or fail, depend on this step.

There are no science about it. It is an art.

So i would leave it for you, i will let you make some research by your self, visit other website as many as you can.

Read and learn how they write, how they persuade, copy-paste their writing technique, subscribe to their email-list and learn how they writing for email …

For minisite – learn sales letter from other ‘killer’ minisite and high convertion site
For blog – you should learn from this john chow website, their page rank on google is the proof. Learn how many times they post every month, learn how to write quality contents, learn how to attract people to visit your site with certain keyword, learn how they promote site …

After you learn from this one, i suggest you find another popular blog and learn how they write the ‘killer’ content for their site!

Please Note for blog owner :

Try to write high quality content dan useful for visitor who search for a solution that relevance to your products or services!
If you make web blog, you should post original content, or if you use others people content, please re-write it by using your own writing style!
Use the best and relevant keyword in every posting you make for about 2-5 times within the sentence of your posting. Do not spam!
Give good title and description for every posting that you want to publish.

STEP#6 – EMAIL LIST BUILDING

Pay attention to this :

People will judge, whether you are ‘good’ guys who really want to help, give the best solution for them and sell good quality products OR ‘bad’  guys who just want to ‘rob’ your money and did not give a damn to their problem

So read this carefully :

Make sure you have a Good Quality Products in your hands!
Make sure you really want to help others by writing useful, helpful content or honest product reviews for your target market!
Make people likes to you! Dont make poeple more confuse!
Show them that you CARE!

Pay attention to it! If you did not do that, i guarantee, you will fail!

That’s why most of internet marketers newbies failed! …

I repetead, if you have a good quality content and products, plus you do care about people problem, you do not have to be affraid. Just wait and see, people who visit your website will buy your products!

And if they do not buy at the first visit, they will be happy to bookmark your site, subcribe to your newsletter and then visit again someday to buy your products!

And thats why you should have EMAIL LIST.

provide visitor email form subscriber so they can follow you, and you can keep in touch with them, give then solution, tips, guide, and the last and the most important thing is …of course, you can offer your products!

STEP#7 – GET MORE TRAFFIC

Dont worry about page rank.

Google loves content, if google see your website with a good, original, high quality content, then they will grab your entire page and put them on their database, ready to send for internet user!

some people often ask me about “how to get more traffics for my site?”

Oke, here’s some action you need to do :

Write an articles on free articles base or free ezine website. Just type on google “free ezine” or “free article directory”.
Advertise on facebook and google adwords.
Use free social bookmarking services. Go to socialmarker.com and you will find the list. The best social bookmarking services is digg.com, technorati.com, blogcatalog.com, delicious.com
Use tumblr and twitter. Twitter also can be use as powerful tools for promoting your products.
visit squidoo, zimbio, and hubpages, sign-up
Also dont forget to use google webmaster tools, google analytics, yahoo site explorer.
Submit to url directory. You can find the list on google. Just type “submit url”
Dont be lazy to visit related website and post your comment with your website url on it. It will increase quality backlinks to your site.
Using free traffics exchanges – just type on google “free traffics exchanges”
Finding targeted Joint-Venture partners, and ask to them that you have a products and want to cooperate with them. As a compensation, give them special commission!
Recruit an affiliate! By register to clickbank or paydotcom for a small fee, you can invite your visitor to join your affiliate program and get the massive traffics to your site!
